We have all been there - Super excited about your new electronic, all set up... and nothing. It doesn't work. We read the manual, but let's be honest... most manuals, at least to me, read like they are in another language. That is one of the main reasons I enjoy writing these blogs - I love figuring out how stuff works, and spreading my knowledge onto other people in a clear, easy to understand fashion.
This blog will list some common trouble spots with the Versonel NightWatcher and provide some simple solutions.
Problem: Your light is not tracking correctly on your 502, 702 or 802
Solution: Turn off the main power to your NightWatcher. Rotate the head (light) 5x from left to right. Park the light in the left potion looking at the light. Power light back on.
Problem: You are getting an error message like this one for your 802:
Solution: First, check your WiFi Password - Remember, it is case sensitive! Try re-entering your home WiFi password on the app.
Still not working? Check your WiFi signal strength. If your WiFi signal isn't strong enough, this error message will occur and your NightWatcher will not work. If this is the case, try using a WiFi booster, which can be found at any major electronics store.
Problem: You tried the above solution, and you are still not able to connect to your app for your 802, or you are having general tracking issues with your 702 or 502.
Solution: Power your light into static mode, then hold the reset button down for 15 seconds. Delete the camera from your app. Then re-start the connection process, which is easily accessible here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aupG1kwIyo
