Connecting your VSL95 to WiFI
Congratulations on your purchase of your New Versonel VSL95 WiFi Motion Tracking LED Security Light! Once you have your unit installed setting up your unit is simple and you will be able to view video in no time. Below is a link to our quick start guide as well as a helpful video showing the steps to getting your unit connected to your WiFi.

- Make sure that you have a strong WiFi signal where you are installing your unit. You can test this by downloading an app to test your signal strength.
- If you have not restarted your phone in a while, it would not hurt to make sure you do a quick restart.
- If you plan to leave your unit unconnected from your WiFi, the unit will still function for recording video on the SD card but you first must pair the unit to your WiFi before you move it to a remote location.
- Some WiFi systems have dual bands so you may have to temporarily disable the 5GHZ band to connect the unit. Most systems have instructions on how to do this in their manual or on their website. You must connect to the 2.4GHZ band of your WiFi.
- If there is direct sunlight facing the camera when you are trying to pair the unit it may not connect easily. Wait until the sunlight is not interfering or simply shade the device so that the camera can read the QR code on your mobile phone screen. Your phone should be about one foot away when the camera scans the code.
